Fundraising Events for raising funds to support our Dream Programs
- Stagecoach Theatre -April 12th, matinee showing at 2:00 p.m. of ‘The Great American Trailer Park Musical’, a book by Betsy Kelso, Music & Lyrics by David Nehls. Ticket price = $25 per person.
- Trivia Fundraiser (click here for more details) – Ticket price = $35 per person (click Purchase button below to pay). Pre-registration required. A fun trivia event featuring a theme of familiar favorite TV shows, Saturday, March 14 at Legends Pub & Grill, Boise Spectrum Center, 7609 W Overland Rd., Boise. Doors open at 3:15 p.m., games start at 3:30 p.m. Food & beverage available for purchase.

- The Boise club currently provides Live Your Dream Awards®: First place – $3,000, Second place – $2,000, Third place – $1,500, and Fourth place – $1,500. The applications are accepted annually from August 1st-November 15th. The winner of the club-level award will become eligible for one of the region-level awards. Region-level First place recipients then become eligible to receive one of the three Soroptimist International of the America’s Federation-level awards of $10,000.
- The Boise club currently provides Dream Big Awards (as part of SIA’s Big Goal Acceleration Projects) to increase access to education for women and girls facing obstacles. The number of awards and amounts are determined each year by the Dream Big Award committee based on applications submitted.
- Soroptimist of the Year – Annual award for a member who has contributed regularly time and talents during the current club year.
- Rookie of the Year – A new member chosen by the club president who has contributed regularly of her time and talents during the current club year.

Soroptimist’s Dream Programs – Live Your Dream: Education and Training Awards for Women® and Dream It, Be It: Career Support for Girls® , along with our club Dream Big Award – ensure women and girls access the education and training required to reach their full potential and live their dreams. Soroptimist is committed to investing in programs which demonstrate a sustainable, measurable change for women and girls.SIA’s major program is the Live Your Dream: Education and Training Awards for Women®.
Dream it stories/testimonials – read about the inspiring storiesThe Soroptimist Live Your Dream Awards® are cash awards given to motivated women who are the primary financial supporters of their families. These recipients of the awards seek to improve their lives by gaining additional skills, training or education, but do not have the resources to do so. Dream It, Be It
Dream It, Be It: Career Support for Girls® provides girls in secondary school, who face obstacles to their future success, access to professional role models, career education and the resources to live their dreams. Soroptimist clubs work in partnership with girls, in small groups or a conference setting, delivering information and resources for developing skills to achieve their goals. Topics include career opportunities, setting and achieving goals, overcoming obstacles to success and how to move forward after setbacks or failures.
